For every 30,000 XP a summoner spends on epic abilities, she can switch out one of her spells known (of any spell level, from 0th to 3rd) for another one of the same level.
For every 10,000 XP a summoner spends on epic abilities, she can re-allocate her eidolon's evolution points.
Summoner epic abilities
ASPECT
You gain the aspect ability.
Prerequisite: Summoner level 6th.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: You gain the aspect ability.
EPIC SPELL CASTER (SUMMONER)
Learn to cast 3rd-level spells.
Prerequisite: Summoner level 6th.
XP Cost: 10,000.
Benefit: You gain a single 3rd-level spell slot. (If your Charisma is 18 or higher, you also gain a bonus 3rd-level spell slot.) You also gain a single 3rd-level spell known.
EVOLVED EIDOLON
Your eidolon gains evolution points.
Prerequisite: Summoner level 6th.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: Your eidolon adds 2 evolution points to its pool.
Special: You can take this ability up to three times. It costs 7,500 XP the second time you take it, and 10,000 XP the third time.
IMPROVED EIDOLON
Your eidolon improves.
Prerequisite: Summoner level 6th.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: Your eidolon gains one hit die, and all the associated benefits thereof (as indicated on the Eidolon table in the summoner class description) except for an increase in its evolution point pool.
Special: You can take this ability twice. It costs 10,000 XP the second time you take it. The second time you take this ability, it also increases by 1 the number of points you have available to allocate to your eidolon's Strength or Dexterity scores.
MAKER'S CALL (ADDITIONAL USE)
You can use maker's call once more per day.
Prerequisite: Summoner level 6th.
XP Cost: 2,500.
Benefit: You can use maker's call one additional time per day.
TRANSPOSITION
You gain the transposition ability.
Prerequisite: Summoner level 6th.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: You gain the transposition ability. Additionally, you can use maker's call one additional time per day.
