Hello, and welcome to Obormot’s Reign of Winter!
Obormot’s Reign of Winter is an online, episodic Dungeons & Dragons campaign that’s based on the Reign of Winter Adventure Path from Paizo Publishing.
Obormot’s Reign of Winter takes inspiration from Slavic mythology and fairy tales. Like most D&D campaigns, the action takes place in a world of magic and fantasy. The player characters are extraordinary people, who play a special part in events that have the potential to change entire worlds. The campaign follows these characters as they go on a fantastic journey across many lands and realms, and face epic challenges, all while trying to accomplish their own personal goals.
Obormot’s Reign of Winter is, in many ways, an unusual D&D campaign. Things like the origins of the player characters, the role of good and evil, and the nature of death and resurrection, do not work the way they do in most D&D games. (You can learn about some of these things at the links at right; others will be revealed once you start playing.)
Obormot’s Reign of Winter uses a customized rule set, which is similar to the rules for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game (but modified in many ways).
