For every 30,000 XP a bard spends on epic abilities, she can switch out one of her spells known (of any spell level, from 0th to 3rd) for another one of the same level.
Bard epic abilities (performance)
DEADLY PERFORMANCE
Kill an enemy with your performance.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th, any ten epic abilities.
XP Cost: 10,000.
Benefit: You can use the deadly performance bardic performance. The target you wish to kill must be able to see and hear you perform for three consecutive rounds. The Will saving throw DC for the effect is 13 + your Charisma modifier.
DIRGE OF DOOM
Inspire fear with your performance.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: You can use the dirge of doom bardic performance.
EPIC PERFORMER
Start a performance quickly.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: You may start your bardic performance as a move action instead of a standard action.
FRIGHTENING TUNE
Cause your enemies to flee in fear of your performance.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th, Dirge of doom epic ability.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: You can use the frightening tune bardic performance. Once you start playing the frightening tune, its effects begin at the end of your next turn (and you must have continued to play the tune for this second round as well), not immediately. The Will saving throw DC for the effect is 13 + your Charisma modifier.
INSPIRE GREATNESS
Inspire an ally to greatness, improving his prowess in combat.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: You can use the inspire greatness bardic performance. You can only inspire greatness in one ally at a time.
Special: You can take this ability up to three times. Each time you take it, you can inspire greatness in one additional ally.
INSPIRE HEROICS
Improve an ally's morale, helping them dodge attacks and resist mental influence.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th, any ten epic abilities.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: You can use the inspire heroics bardic performance. You can only inspire heroics in one ally at a time.
Special: You can take this ability up to three times. Each time you take it, you can inspire heroics in one additional ally.
MASS SUGGESTION
Influence an entire crowd at once.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th, any ten epic abilities.
XP Cost: 10,000.
Benefit: You can use the mass suggestion bardic performance. You must maintain the performance for three consecutive turns (after you have already fascinated the creatures to whom you wish to make the suggestion); the suggestion takes effect at the end the third turn of your performance.
SOOTHING PERFORMANCE
Heal your allies' wounds, and relieve minor conditions afflicting them.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th.
XP Cost: 5,000.
Benefit: You can use the soothing performance bardic performance. Your soothing performance creates the effect of mass cure light wounds, using your ranks in Perform as the caster level.

EPIC SPELL CASTER (BARD)
Learn to cast 3rd-level spells.
Prerequisites: Bard level 6th.
XP Cost: 10,000.
Benefit: You gain a single 3rd-level spell slot. (If your Charisma is 18 or higher, you also gain a bonus 3rd-level spell slot.) You also gain a single 3rd-level spell known.
